Naturally, when we see the word give our thoughts jump to money. Here at Family Church we are committed to teaching the Biblical truth about financial giving and tithing. Pastor Larry desires to see people blessed and walking in the abundance that God promises when we are obedient with the finances he has entrusted to us. However, giving is not limited to money. We are talking about giving of your time. As we step outside the four walls of this building we are able to reach out into the world and make a difference. The heartbeat of Family Church can be found in outreach, praise and worship and Pastor’s anointed and relevant messages. Currently we found ourselves focussing our efforts on spreading the word about the love of Jesus through community outreach. We desire to Raise the Standard in this region and make a difference in lives for the glory of God.

Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. —Malachi 3:10
WHY DO WE GIVE?
The Bible instructs believers to offer up the first tenth of their income and give it back to God. This is called the tithe. Obeying this command from God is an act of worship and should be done with a cheerful heart. To withhold your tithe is to rob God. (Malachi 3:8)
Anything you give above your tithe is an offering — a gift to God for the work of His kingdom. Learning how to tithe and give offerings is a lesson every Christian should grasp. It's the key to unlocking guaranteed blessings straight from God.
